Who We Are
Earthmark helps brands and marketplaces communicate their environmental performance with clarity, context, and transparency. We also provide tools for consumers to make more informed, sustainable shopping decisions.
Earthmark is the data controller for the purposes of applicable data protection laws. Our registered office is 13 Upper High St, Thame, Oxfordshire OX9 3ER.
What Information We Collect
We collect information depending on how you interact with us:
a. Brand Representatives
When claiming or managing a brand profile, we collect:
Full name
Work email
Company name and website
Job title
Login credentials (email and password)
b. Consumers / Individuals
When joining our community or opting to be contacted, we collect:
Full name
Email address
Optional preferences (e.g., interests in sustainability, topics you'd like to hear about)
c. Marketplace Partners
When requesting information or partnership opportunities, we collect:
Name
Business email
Organisation name
Role/title
We may also collect basic technical information (IP address, device/browser type, interaction logs) to help improve platform performance.
Business Data Submission
If you’re a brand representative, you may also submit public-facing business environmental data including:
Carbon emissions (Scope 1–3)
Waste data (total, recycled, disposed)
Environmental goals (e.g. net zero targets)
Revenue band and sector
Third-party certifications or ratings
This data will be used to generate and publish your Earthmark score. It may be publicly viewable on your business profile and/or surfaced through our partner marketplace platforms.

Create and manage your account (for brand reps)
Send relevant updates and resources (for consumers)
Discuss Earthmark integration opportunities (for marketplaces)
Provide customer support or respond to inquiries

Business Environmental Data (Public)
We use submitted business data to:
Generate and display your Earthmark score
Contextualise performance against peers
Support sustainability-focused features across platforms
